Who I Am & How I Got Here

My Journey

In the back of my head, I always knew that I was going to become a therapist. The type of therapist was the question. During my high school years, physical therapy dominated my career aspirations and still remains an area of great interest. From age five through my high school years, I was involved in various team sports. Playing sports granted me ample opportunities to experience the role physical therapists play as they helped rehabilitate me after my two knee surgeries. This transformed my love for sports into a passion for understanding bio-mechanics (physics of human movement) and an overall effort to improve my own health and wellness.

Throughout my personal experiences, I have come to appreciate and actualize the gentle effectiveness of "alternative" medicine. Before starting my career in Massage Therapy, I worked as a Health Enthusiast at The Vitamin Shoppe. Along with the education I received on both herbs and supplements, I was also afforded the opportunity to hear first-hand testimonials from customers who shared their experiences of how herbal or homeopathic remedies helped bring their bodies back into balance when nothing else was working. This was life-changing for me as it really opened my eyes to the efficacy of "alternative" medicine. I have since dedicated myself to the mastery of health and particularly natural pain relief.

I have been extremely fortunate in my professional career to have the opportunity to work with and learn from several experts in the fields of both massage and medicine. I have worked firsthand with a medical doctor, a chiropractic physician, several physical therapists, and even the father of Neuromuscular Therapy himself. Continual growth and education are instrumental to my ability to serve at the highest capacity and fuel my career trajectory.

In my off time, I love being out in nature on my kayak, brewing kombucha, going to the gym, or spending time with my dog Khaleesi. If I'm not doing one of these, then there's a good chance I'm reading or learning about something on YouTube. Currently, I'm doing research on myofascial pain, its dysfunction, and cryptocurrency. I may be accepting crypto such as Bitcoin and Ethereum to pay for services at a handsome discount. Stay tuned!  Videos will be coming soon!

I consider myself blessed to be able to contribute to the health and happiness of other human beings on a daily basis. I look forward to working with you and being a part of your overall health and wellness program!

Be Well,
